Inducted in 1961, Vincent W. “Squeek” Burnett was one of America’s most proficient precision flyers and won the Fred Lund Trophy for aerobatic flying. He originated the square loop maneuver and specialized in the inverted ribbon cut. He flew with the Flying Aces aerobatic team before he became a free-lance precision performer. During WWII, he trained pilots in Richmond, Va. And toured training bases to demonstrate the capabilities of the B-26 bomber.
